We specialise in up-cycling; innovatively combining new British and sustainable fabrics with reclaimed textiles. Known for bold, colour-blocked styles, we have developed a design method which is informed by the use of recycled fabrics, but not restrained by it.
Going Going Bike
We tried to buy a used bicycle that wasn’t stolen. That’s how it all started! We wanted a basic bike to commute to work on and thought about buying a used bike. We found it hard to track down one that we liked and could be sure wasn’t stolen. And so the basic idea of Going Going Bike was born – a legitimate market for used bikes and bike-y stuff. No bike thieves (or jargon) allowed!
Nigel’s Eco Store
I set up Nigel’s Eco Store in 2005, because I wanted to do something positive, and make a difference. There’s a few more of us now, but the main thing is that we all continue to be inspired by eco friendly products and ideas that solve environmental challenges, and yet are still fun, functional and desirable. In our searches for new eco products to add to our range, we love things that use less energy, re-use materials, don’t pollute, or that are natural and organic, and compared to non-eco alternatives, do the same job, and look and feel just as great – or better!

Energy Rethinking
energyrethinking aims to inspire and encourage everyone to use energy more wisely and save money at the same time. We think that energy saving is about more than flicking switches and changing light bulbs. We have a lot of good ideas to share – from industry, academia, government and non-governmental organisations.
