Global Cool’s hooked up with NME for the weekly music bible’s forthcoming ShockWaves NME Awards Tour 2007.

Promoted as the Rock / Rave tour, the double-headed jaunt will present the hottest in new talent from the cutting edge of indie rock and new rave.

Acts confirmed for the Rock dates include Welsh monster lovers The Automatic, Scottish indie sensations The View, shock-rockers The Horrors and up-and-coming sextet Mumm-Ra.

Those taking to the Rave tour bus will be new rave ambassadors Klaxons (pictured), Brazilian popsters CSS, punk funksters The Sunshine Underground and sassy indie-dance outfit New Young Pony Club.

Kicking off on 29th January, the two tours will simultaneously traverse the UK before both landing on the capital on 23rd February for major shows at Brixton Academy (Rock) and Hammersmith Palais (Rave).

Full details of the tour dates and ticket information is available via the links below. Fifty pence from each ticket sold will be donated to Global Cool.
