EarthFireIce... they like dressing up
As reported earlier by Global Cool, our ace friends at EarthFireIce, that’s Sean Cornwell and Ed Stumpf, will later today attempt to run 26 miles in dangerously baking conditions when they take part in the grueling Sahara Marathon.

Sean and Ed, who are both undertaking this massive effort to drive awareness of the dangers of climate change, will follow their brave attempt today with a second marathon in April at the slightly more clement location of the North Pole.

If you get a chance, please have a look over their very clever website (listed below), where with the help of Google Maps, you can make a pledge to reduce your carbon emissions and instantly see yourself on their rapidly expanding map of supporters.

Keep checking back here for progress reports on the boys’ run.
