This summer sees the launch of Cornwall’s Beach Break Live. Flagged up as the UK’s first student festival, this three-day event will feature two arenas of live music in addition to a myriad of outward bound events including surfing, coasteering and even paintball.

What’s more the student organisers are refusing to fly in any of the acts appearing and will be ensuring all grub sold on site is locally sourced or at least Fair Trade recognised. What’s more, the entire event will be made carbon neutral by Global Cool.

Joining the likes of Mr Scruff and DJ Format will be some of the UK’s best upcoming comedians and performance artists, who will be vying for attention alongside DJ workshops, yoga glasses and film screenings.

Beach Break Live takes place between Monday 11th and Thursday 14th June at Polzeath, North Cornwall. Tickets are on sale now price £65 for three days and three nights, with return coach packages available from just £20.
