US singer and green activist Sheryl Crow has called for a limit on toilet paper to help the environment. Speaking on her website, Crow said All I Wanna Do is use “one square per restroom visit, except, of course, on those pesky occasions where two to three could be required”.

Despite facing ridicule from some parts of the media, Crow has been relentless in her crack down on all forms of pollution. The Grammy winning star recently commented that paper napkins “represent the height of wastefulness”, and has designed a range of clothing including a detachable “dining sleeve” that can be replaced after the diner has used it to wipe his or her mouth.

And it seems Everyday is a Winding Road for the country singer. As reported in November, the 45-year-old recently toured the US in a biodiesel bus to raise awareness about climate change. Joining Michael Jackson’s former backing singer on her coast-to-coast jaunt was Laurie David - producer of ‘An Inconvenient Truth’ and wife of Larry ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ David.

“I have spent the better part of this tour trying to come up with easy ways for us all to become a part of the solution to global warming,” said Crow, refusing to let us simply Soak Up The Sun and ignore climate change.

“Although my ideas are in the earliest stages of development, they are, in my mind, worth investigating.”

If it Makes You Happy Sheryl, then keep up the good work.
