If you’re selling anything through eBay you can now donate a proportion of the money you raise to Global Cool. How about that then…
This process is particularly prevalent if you’re selling tickets for Live Earth. eBay is strongly recommending that those selling their tickets for the extravaganza donate a minimum of 20% of their sale to a climate change charity.
If you’d like to make an eBay donation to Global Cool (which is a very nice climate change charity) simply follow the below instructions…
• Click on the ‘Select a new charity’ link in the ‘Donate a percentage to charity’ area of the selling page.
• A pop up box should appear in your browser. In the ‘Charity name or keyword’ box type GLOBAL COOL. Then click on the search button.
• Global Cool should appear as the only link in the list at the bottom of the pop up box. Click on the select button.
• Read the blurb bit and if you’re happy, click on ‘Agree and Continue’.
• Fill in your bits and bobs and finally press confirm
You should now be returned to the eBay selling page from where you can add the percentage of the sale you would like to donate to Global Cool.
