Recently married and fresh from winning Best Contemporary Song at the prestigious Ivor Novello Awards, Winehouse has been receiving more good press than bad recently.

But the Mail once again preserved the social fabric by taking the 23 year-old crooner down a peg or two.

Winehouse was papped outside her London home yesterday in a state of bewilderment as to where she could dump two, yes two, black bin bags – presumably containing empty hairspray cans used to build her beehive ‘do.

Not sure whether to leave her wanton waste on the pavement, Winehouse was eventually invited by a compassionate neighbour – believed to be a Mail reader herself – to use her bin.

According to the ever-conscientious daily, the rebellious star then spent the rest of the day at the pub before nipping to the supermarket to pick up some essentials.

Reports that Winehouse stocked up on CFL bulbs before enjoying a quiet night in researching her local council’s recycling facilities have yet to be confirmed. But we reckon that’s what she probably did…
