Wire Daisies have joined forces with Global Cool for our MyCO2 campaign.
The Cornish four-piece worked with Global Cool to produce a special video for ‘Never Meant to Hurt You’, a ballad penned by the band to highlight the problem of climate change.
The short film features a dream sequence of a future in which time to save our planet is rapidly running out. Following the four seasons of one year to a catastrophic conclusion, the film emphasises that, if mankind had moved faster, tragedy could have been avoided.
Global Cool’s mission is simple: inspire one billion people to each reduce their personal CO2 emissions by at last one tonne and help save a planet.
Wire Daisies are Treana Morris on vocals and guitars, Alden Evans on guitars, Ol Beach on keyboards and Steve Jackson on drums. The band formed in 2002 and their second album, ‘Wire Daisies’, is out now.
