Cowes Week
Global Cool is taking its ambitious climate change campaign to Cowes Week on the Isle of Wight to inspire the international sailing community to reduce its personal CO2 emissions.

The campaign team will be out and about all week handing out biodegradable laminates, which will afford the wearer the opportunity to enter a prize draw to win a day’s sailing on a Volvo Ocean Race 2008-09 yacht - in return for making a few simple pledges to reduce their personal greenhouse gas emissions.

If you’re down at Cowes and fancy entering the draw, simply look out for the Global Cool team, who will be pretty easy to spot as they’ll be the ones sporting the new range of Global Cool T-shirts, in addition to hanging out on the Global Cool-branded boat.

If you can’t make it across the Solent this week, fear not as anyone can enter the draw by simply texting ‘Cool’ to 84477 and registering your personal details.

All entrants will be sent a text message encouraging them to fill out a MyCO2 workout card at globalcool.org, which will then feed into the Global Cool Coolometer.
