Letting people do bad things by easing their concious in the hope they do good things in the future? Surely not? Surely its better to get them to do good things in the first place. Offsetting is nothing about climate change and all about making bad people feel good! Did you see that yesterday Boris Johnson, Tory candidate for Mayor of London, called for a whole new airport instead of a new runway for Heathrow.
