The problem is the people who are pulling his strings, and the fact the US government is ineffective to change. Look what happened to stem cell research. One bad President can mean eight years of lost time. The world can't afford another Bush. Despite me ranting on about this selfish bastard, I would like to say that alternative ways to making fuel would be the best idea. The only thing that we need to watch for is that the alternative way of producing this fuel should NOT happen by using food such as corn. Switchgrass and other ways need to be used to create ethanol, and order to accompany this change, we need to focus our efforts there.
