We love festival season! With all the wonderful weather lately we can think of nothing better than kicking back in a field of green with a pint and listening to some great tunes. This week we want to snog not one, not two, but 14 music festivals for their wonderful green credentials. The Big Chill, Glastonbury, Grass Roots, Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, Isle of Wight Festival, Latitude, Leeds Festival, Lovebox, Reading Festival, Shambala, Sonisphere, T in the Park, Truck Festival and Wood Festival are all on our list. All of these festivals have been awarded the prestigious Industry Green award for their environmental initiatives.
Marry
Justin Bieber’s missus is growing up fast and her older celeb friends could learn a lot from her. Selena Gomez has already adopted five rescue dogs and is the youngest UNICEF ambassador ever! Currently the pint-sized Disney Channel star is promoting UNICEF’s Celebrity Tap Project, bottling her water and putting it in fancy bottles for people to win. The campaign hopes to raise awareness and decrease the number of children dying every day from waterborne illnesses. Check out Selena at home, bottling her own water in the video below…
Avoid
We love her clothes and we love his hair, but Posh and Becks have made it into our ‘avoid’ section this week for their wasteful behaviour. They are flying all the way from LA to the UK for the Royal Wedding this Friday only to jet home again the following day for a football match. We know watching Wills and Kate tie the knot will be an epic event but has nobody told them the entire ceremony will be broadcast live on Youtube?
