Turning your TV completely off rather than leaving it on standby might be a pain in the arse (given that you have to actually get up out of your chair to do it), but it will save you loads of cash and help preserve your TV for longer. As a gentle reminder not to leave your TV on stand by here’s TV turn-off of the week: A TV lowlight that proves that sometimes the only way is not Essex… it’s the OFF button…
We’ve all seen quite a few ridiculous storylines from Eastenders over the years. From Tanya burying Max alive and Dirty Den’s resurection, to Little Mo’s last stand and the great Kat-Ronnie baby swap, we feel like we’ve put up with quite a lot. But after watching the latest Eastenders Christmas special trailer, we’re avoiding the show like the plague. We know that Christmas specials are supposed to be shocking and also a simple way to bump off several dud characters in one episode, but we’re getting a bit sick of all the explosions and fires – it’s too much drama for one evening. We’d much rather just settle down with a few beers and our Christmas pud anyway.
