So, who is she?
She made us want to be her in Mean Girls, made us cry in The Notebook and made us jealous kissing Owen Wilson in Wedding Crashers. More recently you may remember her as the feisty co-star of Robert Downey Junior and Jude Law in Sherlock Holmes.
Impressive. What else do I need to know?
Rachel McAdams is pretty good at what she does, and she once received a record five MTV Movie Award nominations in a single year. She also once worked at a McDonald’s for three summers with her sister, Kayleen McAdams, and her brother, Dan McAdams. Not quite rags to riches but definitely surprising.
So, she’s a cool girl, but why is she a Global Cool girl?
You just cant help but fall in love with Rachel McAdams! She’s urging women to choose bamboo lingerie for the good of the planet. The Wedding Crashers star is a true green girl and has even launched a website called GreenIsSexy.org, to help raise awareness about clothing alternatives and better ways to protect the environment. Ryan Gosling’s ex-missus has also admitted to wearing soy underwear. She loves riding a bike or Doing It In Public, rather than taking a car. McAdams also enjoys shopping at vintage clothing stores and managed to avoid ever getting on a plane until age 22. Phew! She literally has green credentials coming out of her ears!
