Because living like a celebrity doesn’t have to cost the Earth…
We can’t get enough of Kiddimoto Balance Bikes - the bike designed to help children learn to balance and steer quickly. That’s because these bikes don’t have pedals or stabilisers. Children will move themselves around using one foot and soon using no feet at all.
And Dragons’ Den stars Duncan Bannatyre and Hilary Devey get a big ol’ snog from us this week for pumping £75,000 into the product and promoting cycling in youngsters aged 2-6. Check it out now…
We’ve had an eco crush on Livia Firth for ages, and now our favourite eco fashionista and founder of the Green Carpet Challenge, has set her sights on Michelle Obama. Colin Firth’s missus is trying to encourage America’s first lady to wear more ethical clothes.
Firth said “She’s not strictly speaking a celebrity, but she’s one of the most inspiring women ever!
“We already proved that ethics and aesthetics match and the red carpets are a big opportunity to communicate that. I’m hoping that we’ll keep doing what we do and more and more designers will want to join in. My ultimate goal is in a year’s time is to have a dedicated lane at the Oscars for people who are not wearing Green Carpet Challenge.
“We are collaborating with a lot of big names, more are in the pipeline for the next awards season which I can’t reveal yet. It’s very exciting!”
We think it’s a great idea and we’re backing Firth all the way.
We couldn’t quite believe our eyes when we read about the Olsen twins’ newest fashion venture. We know that Mary-Kate and Ashley have never been massive animal rights campaigners with many exotic skins and furs used in their (frankly overpriced) designs.
and now they’ve gone and made one of the most hideous bags we’ve ever seen. They’ve created a backpack made of black patent leather from Nile crocodiles and decorated with prescription pills.
Only 12 will be sold and they’re priced at a whopping $55,000 each! We think these twins need to get their head out of the clouds and take some tips from one of these awesome celebs instead.
Here comes the science bit…
