Reasons to snog, marry and avoid Italian Vogue, Brangelina and Marvin JLS

on in Entertainment

We’re always on the look out for the good, the bad and the ugly in celebsville. But unlike most of the celebrity rags, we’re more concerned with who’s using their canvas bag at the supermarket than who’s been spending a little bit too much quality time with the botox needle. And what better way to put them to rights than by playing our favourite TV show, Snog Marry Avoid

Angelina Jolie Brad Pitt Marvin JLS

Snog
The Editor of Italian Vogue has spoken up in support of ethical fashion. The 61-year-old Franca Sozzani, is backing Livia Firth’s Green Carpet Challenge – a promise to wear only ethical and sustainable dresses on the red carpet at all the awards ceremonies she attends. Let’s hope many more influential people of the fashion industry follow suit (or dress as the case may be).

Marry
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie may have a big enough family to build a small community, but they’re alsp dedicated to building green communities elsewhere. Brad Pitt worked hard to create sustainable housing in the Ninth Ward of New Orleans, and also helped out in designing an environmentally-friendly luxury hotel in Dubai. Don’t worry though Jen, we’ll always be Team Aniston.

Avoid
Marvin of JLS had already coughed up £45,000 on an engagement ring for his beau Rochelle Wiseman, but it seems he’s got a bit of a spending addiction when he bought his new finacée a £50,000 car! The customised white Range Rover Sport was dropped off at The Saturdays singer’s house complete with a big red ribbon. Now we’re all for showering our loved ones with presents,  but couldn’t the JLS star have gone for something green rather than gas-guzzling?

Here comes the science bit…
Global Cool wants you to lead a green and happy life. This article can help you to be green by:

1. Wearing recycled and pre-loved clothes instead of always buying something new.
2. (If you really have to drive) making sure you pick an eco-friendly Hybrid.
3. Being sensible with spending - overconsumption is a major no-no.
