Jason Mraz has recently started a tree planting initiative with Reverb to help offset the environmental impact of his Summer 2012 US Tour. He’s already well-known for his green ways and makes the most of his five acres in San Diego, CA, by growing avocados. The whole farm is powered by solar panels too. Pretty good eh? Why not follow suit and get planting some lettuce and tomatoes to get you through summer.

We know she literally just married someone else but we’d love to get in on that eco-wedding action. Natalie Portman said ‘I do’ to her ex-co-star Benjamin Millepied at the weekend in a beautiful green ceremony. All of the flowers were sourced locally and in season and the entire menu was vegan! The newly-weds didn’t waste their time with fancy cakes or non-recyclable wedding favours – the cake was replaced by yummy French macaroons and the guests all received a little bag of wild flowers. So simple yet so romantic!

We’re well aware that the TOWIE lot didn’t rise to celebrity status for their brains, but Chloe Sims has really taken the biscuit this week. The Only Way is Essex reality star was left stranded at the side of the road yesterday after she accidentally put the wrong petrol on her car. In fact, the cosmetic surgery junkie had put £60 of unleaded petrol in her £35,000 diesel Mercedes Benz E-Class convertible! In the end roadside assistance came and towed her car away (which is pretty much what we’d like to see happen to most of the cast)…
