We’re more used to talking about Laren Pope from TOWIE rather than the head of the Roman Catholic church, but it’s not just celebs that get to feature in our Snog, Marry and Avoid feature. This week we’re giving Pope Benedict XVI a big smacker (look away now, God!) for getting an awesome green gift. Italian carmaker NWG gave him a stylish electric car to get him from A to B. The Pope is said to be a big advocate of green living too – good work!

Marry
You’ve probably never heard of Nancy Judd, but this environmental educator and artist is making a big statement for eco-friendly living. The Recycle Runway founder turned down an offer from water bottle firm Dasani to work on an eco-marketing campaign on Facebook because she doesn’t want to promote bottled water. The decision cost her around $10,000, but we think it was worth every penny.

Avoid
It’s not often you see Eamonn Holmes gracing the pages of Global Cool but we couldn’t let this latest piece of news slide. The Sky Sunrise presenter apparently wants to hire a speedboat to avoid the traffic in the Olympics! We can think of much better ways to get around, so stop being such a diva Eamonn!
