School of Cool #7: Liz Hurley

This week’s global heroine is actress Liz Hurley…

So who is she?
The English actress best known for “that dress” which she wore to the premier of then boyfriend Hugh Grant’s movie premier. Or you might know her as the PVC cat suit wearing devil from Bedazzled.

Impressive. What else do I need to know?
Not only is Liz an actress, she is a model, producer, charity campaigner, swimwear designer and a mum.

So she’s a cool girl, but why is she a Global Cool girl?
After buying a farm in Gloucestershire five years ago, Liz has now converted it and set up her own 400 acre organic farm.

Here she grows her own crops such as wheat and oats and has teamed up with Prince Charles to launch a range of organic snack bars for his organic food line, Duchy Originals.

As well as the snack bars, Liz is also producing healthy beef jerky and meat from her own cattle.

We’re super proud of Liz for her producing organic food, especially after she was blasted for her lavish wedding back in 2007 where guests partied in three different cities around the world over seven days.
