SH*T OR HIT: Frankie Cocozza almost wets himself on film and Robbie Williams steals the number one spot

Because singing with your hair brush shouldn’t cost the Earth…

Frankie Cocozza and Robbie Williams

Here’s what’s been rocking the world of music over the past two weeks. As a way to remind you not to keep your laptops, iPods and other music-listening devices on charge 24/7 we tell you whether we think these tunes are sh*t or a hit. It’s a simple game: if it’s a hit turn up the speakers to 11. And if it’s sh*t, remember to turn off your charger…

We’d not heard from this cheeky chappy since his not-so-successful appearance on Big Brother but it seems Frankie Cocozza is back and imposing his ‘singing’ on us yet again. The problem is, we don’t really like the song, the video or the way Frankie awkwardly talks in a forced British accent rather than actually singing the song. Also we’re not sure if he’s dancing or if he just really needs a wee but either way this song is most definitely SHIT

This week Radio 1′s new host Nick Grimshaw caused quite a stir by dissing Robbie Williams. Chris Moyles’ replacement said in an interview about Robbie: “I don’t know if he’s now for a Radio 1 audience. To 13 and 14 year olds he’s not relevant… they’ve got One Direction.”

Many big names like DJ Neil Fox and Jamie Oliver have hit back at Grimshaw, and seeing as Robbie’s latest single Candy has gone striaght in at number one we’re pretty sure this makes it a HIT

Any avid fans of The Wire are going to love Mumford and Sons’ new music video. Idris Elba on their new video, which you can watch above. The video for the track ‘Lover Of The Light’ was shot in Wales and was directed Idris Elba (Russell Bell in The Wire). He also stars in the film too and it’s pretty darn good. HIT

We were disgusted to hear that burglars have stolen two of Amy Winehouse’s dresses (including her wedding dress) after breaking into her old home. Whether you’re a Winehouse fan or not, you have to admit that  it’s incredibly disrespectful so although we love this song, the situation is definitely SHIT

The Rolling Stones have unveiled a brand new track titled One More Shot the second single from their new greatest hits compilation ‘GRRR!’ Listen to it now and decide for yourself but we’re voting it as a HIT
