Here’s what’s been rocking the world of music over the past two weeks. As a way to remind you not to keep your laptops, iPods and other music-listening devices on charge 24/7 we tell you whether we think these tunes are sh*t or a hit. It’s a simple game: if it’s a hit turn up the speakers to 11. And if it’s sh*t, remember to turn off your charger…
Whether you like Oasis or not we’re sure you’ve had a go at warbling along to Wonderwall with your mates at some point or another. It’s a classic tune so it’s no surprise that One Direction decided to cover it while they were waiting around for a shoot. It’s not the worst thing we’ve ever heard but we’ll still always prefer the Gallagher brothers’ version. SHIT…

We miss the Olympic Games already! So much so we needed to find a little Olympic musical spirit mid-week to get us through. Luckily we stumbled upon Team GB’s Jessica Ennis, Sir Chris Hoy and Victoria Pendleton lip-synching to Queen’s Don’t Stop Me Now. So if you’re missing London 2012 too check this out. HIT…
And in the land of new music releases, Green Day came out top this week. Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tre Cool have unveiled their new single ‘Kill The DJ’. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did. HIT…
Did you catch the London 2012 closing ceremony on Sunday? Our screens were taken over by Take That, George Michael, Annie Lennox, (a lot) of Jessie J and more fab acts. The highlight for us was seeing the The Spice Girls perform, especially when Boris Johnson started dad dancing to one of their hits. So why don’t you all Spice Up Your Life this Monday too. HIT…
If you need some musical inspiration why not check out our Spotify playlist to get you grooving on the bus to work. Have a lovely week!
Here comes the science bit…
GC articles show you one of four ways (the one in bold) to live greener…

/ Turn up the style (not the heat) /
/ Love the trend (not the spend) /
/ Do it in public (not the car/plane) /
