School of Cool #15: Gemma Cairney

on in Entertainment, Fashion

This week’s top of the class is fashionista Gemma Cairney…

So who is she?
Graduate of the Brit School who now presents the Radio 1Xtra breakfast show with Trevor Nelson.

Impressive. What else do I need to know?
Gemma is also a fashion stylist and has worked with Florence & The Machine and The Pigeon Detectives. She has presented Channel 4′s Frock Me series with Alexa Chung and Henry Holland.

So she’s a cool girl, but why is she a Global Cool girl?
Gemma will be fronting Global Cool’s Turn Up The Style, Turn Down The Heat campaign this winter. She’ll be with us at Britain’s Next Top Model next weekend (October 22-24 at London’s ExCel) showing people how to refashion their much-loved jumpers into this season’s latest trends as a way of encouraging them to turn their heating down at home.

Enter our I Love My Jumper competition to win £100 worth of high street shopping vouchers every week from now until Christmas 2010!
