Calling all book worms! It’s time to BOOK a date in your diaries (cue drums).

Apologies. Let’s start again…

As part of our Do It In Public campaign, Global Cool is launching an online book group – Books In Public – to celebrate the joys of reading your favourite books on buses and trains.

We’ll be kicking off Books In Public on July 15th by handing out free samples of the bestselling novel One Day, by David Nicholls, at bus and train stations around the UK. To find out where the top secret locations are make sure you sign up to the Global Cool newsletter here.

If you’re lucky enough to get your hands on one of our free samples or if you’re already a fan of the book, make sure you come back to globalcool.org to tell us what you think. We’ll have loads of prizes and offers up for grabs throughout the summer for the best book reviews.

You can also review the book on Twitter by using the #BooksInPublic hash tag or on our Facebook page here.

And in the meantime, if you want to tell us your favourite books we’d love to hear all about them either in the comments below, on our Facebook page or on Twitter – just don’t forget to use the hash tag #BooksInPublic.

You can see what other people are saying about Books In Public on Twitter here.

Find out more about the Do It In Public campaign here, including how to get to your favourite music festivals without getting stuck in a traffic jam and interviews with loads of bands talking about who they’d like to meet on a bus.
