Crazy Penguin Catapult – £0.69
Initially we thought this game was a sort of lame version of Angry Birds. The general concept of catapulting an animal into the air in order to knock down some things for points is basically the same, but the Crazy Penguin Catapult app is so much more.
The game begins with the user moving a little penguin in an army hat around a map in order to enter each level. There are then two challenges to complete: the first involves catapulting swinging penguins through a small gap (ocassionally through fire rings). The second challenge is to now fling the “safe” penguins from the first round at ice sculptures and batter some boxing polar bears. Sounds a bit brutal, but it’s actually very good fun and incredibly addictive.
