Green blogging around the globe

Now, there’s a whole lot of green blogging going on across the globe, as you can imagine. With the subject as prevalent as it is in everyone’s mind these days, there are a lot of people that want the latest news and opinions on what’s happening with climate change.

So, we thought we’d take a few minutes to have a look at some of the blogs we really like. Here’s our top five.

1. Treehugger – It just has to be, it’s the biggest green blog in the world, it’s ranked the 30th overall biggest blog in the world, and the content just streams through. This American blog has always got great coverage on all the biggest world issues, and even pulls out some really cool little things that people are doing all over the world. Definitely one of the best stops for all things environmental.

2. Green guys & girls global – This is a bit of a two-for-one type deal. Definitely in our list of our faves. Environmentally conscious people from all over the world coming together to blog on pertinent issues of the day to spread the word. The blogs are well laid out, have awesome content, have great guest editors and even allow you to contribute!

3. Eco fashion world – Well, the name says it all really. They’re all about eco fashion and they have information coming out of their ears! A magazine, news section and a blog, you’ve got loads to get your teeth into here. Their blog posts are from a range of writers covering the latest and greatest in eco fashion. So, if like us, you like your fashion, but like it to be as green at the same time, well, this is a great place for information and opinion.

4. Eco Street – It’s a blog, a directory a forum, has a book store and awesome content, it’s been doing it since ’02 and even has a competition from time to time. Not much else you could ask for out of a green blog, it’s just a great place to get interesting articles and information on all the latest green issues, simple as that.

5. Greenfeed – not exactly a blog in itself, but it does have shed-loads of content. Greenfeed is what you’d call an ‘aggregator’ it pulls in loads of content from loads of other green blogs into one easy to digest place. It’s updated almost by the hour and has info coming in from across the globe, so if you’re looking for something new, something interesting and something green, you may well find it here.
