Are you an Ian McEwan fan? If you loved Atonement and The Child In Time then it’s time you got your mits on Sweet Tooth. The story follows Serena Frome who, after an affair with an older man during her final year at Cambridge, is approached by an intelligence agency.
It’s set in 1972 during the Cold War as Serena sets out on a secret mission and meets a young writer called Tom Haley. Follow the twists and turns of this tantilising tale as trust is tested and emotions run high.
As usual McEwan has delivered a wonderfully touching, masterfully clever and refreshingly comical novel for you to enjoy.
If you fancy bulking up your book collection courtesy of Waterstones and getting a free copy, you’re in for a treat…

GC articles show you one of four ways (the one in bold) to live greener…
/ Be a winner (not a binner) /
/ Turn up the style (not the heat) /
/ Love the trend (not the spend) /
/ Do it in public (not the car/plane) /
