Global Cool launched its series of talks celebrating the Art Of Conversation last night, with renowned thinker Theodore Zeldin giving the lucky few guests some fascinating insights. Read all about it below and check back soon for a video report on the evening.
On our very cool restored Routemaster bus we toured the streets of London while Theodore shared some trade secrets for keeping the conversation flowing beyond the usual boring topics of weather and work.
If you missed last night, don’t worry, there are three more Art Of Conversation talks to come, all on the Routemaster bus. So if you’ve ever seen the man/woman of your dreams on the bus and not had the courage to chat them up, or if you’d just like some tips on how to make those long train journeys just that little bit more adventurous, come along and join us for the Art of Conversation.
The next event, which is part of our Do It In Public campaign, will take place on Thursday August 5th and there will be two more events on the following Thursdays (August 12th and 19th). The events run from 7-8.30pm, picking up and dropping off near Speaker’s Corner, Hyde Park.

If you’d like to come to one of these special events please email getinvolved@globalcool.org. Make sure you get in quick though as there are limited spaces available, and we’ll email you back to confirm if you’ve got a place.
