Win Valentine’s Day love stuff…

11 February 2010 in Lifestyle, Stuff

Whether you want to show your caring sharing side this Valentine’s Day, or are simply looking to secure a first base fumble, we at Global Cool have done all of the groundwork on your behalf, well, with the help our friends at Nigel’s Eco Store and Rail Europe.

All aboard the love train!

First up, there’s nothing particularly romantic about standing in a long queue at a budget airline check-in 50 miles out of town. However, with Europe’s rail network now far more unified, there’s never been a better time to whisk your loved one away for a romantic city break by train. In the next few weeks, Global Cool will be rolling out a whole new campaign explaining the best way to take a traincation but, in the meantime, see just how far you can go by clicking below. Really, why scrabble your way into the mile high club when you can coast into the mile long club…

Knickers to Valentine’s Day

Okay, so you’ve probably heard about edible underwear (no, the lager flavour really is no substitute), but are you aware of ethical underwear? Both Pants to Poverty and Life’s not fair but my knickers are produce sexy undergarments for both men and women which are made only from Fairtrade cotton. You probably won’t want to keep them on for long but at least your conscience will be clean, if not your intentions.

If you’re stuffed on Fairtrade chocolate with the ethical undercrackers hanging from the chandelier, then you’re going to need a handful of eco-condoms

Get a helmet on that soldier

And after all that wooing, if you’ve played your cards right and you’re holed up in a romantic European boutique hotel, stuffed on Fairtrade chocolate with the ethical undercrackers hanging from the chandelier, then all you’re going to need is a handful of eco-condoms. French Letter make condoms from natural latex, harvested under sustainable and Fairtrade conditions, with the rubber producers paid a royalty to help improve their lives. And remember if you don’t want to be too brief or get an earful of grief, invest in a sheath.
