Getting out of the car and riding a bike to work, to meet friends, or just to let off steam is always a cool idea. That’s why we’re stoked to hear about the mammoth progress being made by the celebrities taking part in Sport Relief’s John O’Groats to Land’s End bike ride.
Three days in to the challenge, and the seven cycling stars have made it as far south as Manchester. David Walliams, Jimmy Carr, Miranda Hart, Davina McCall, Fearne Cotton, Patrick Kielty and Russell Howard have been operating a relay-based system to travel the length of the nation non-stop since Monday. Their target is to raise £1m for Sport Relief.

With some sections of their ride inflicting freezing rain, blizzards and plenty of upsets into the verge, it’s good to know that their efforts are also pretty environmentally sound – no flying 12 TV stars off to Kilimanjaro for a start, like last year!
