When you buy this app you get a virtual tree, so why is the app called A Real Tree? The answer is that for every app bought, a real tree is planted.

Communities in Belize, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Burundi, Senegal, Zambia, India, Philippines and Haiti are taught how to look after the trees without chemicals and are eventually able to make a living from the fruit of the tree.

On your phone you’re able to watch birds fly about in your virtual tree and watch the leaves blow in the wind.

This is a sweet app for a good cause, and for less than £1 it’s definitely worth it.
