Ever seen the man/woman of your dreams on the bus or train but not plucked up the courage to ask them out? Or maybe you’re just sick of everyone picking up that free newspaper and pretending to read it, just so they don’t have to make eye contact with strangers.

Global Cool spent summer 2010 solving both these problems. We held a series of special events on a restored London Routemaster bus – showing you how to practise the Art of Conversation and pass the time of day by chatting to strangers on public transport.
