Giving up the car isn’t easy, we know that. And if The Only Way Is Essex is anything to go by, you’re probably still very much in love with foreign holidays. So we’re not asking you to give up flying to Marbs for good. But you can live a greener life and still have fun by replacing just some of those car and plane journeys with greener alternatives. Why not swap just one of those foreign holiday a year for a ‘staycation’ in the UK or even a ‘traincation’ to Europe? And if you ditch just some of those car journeys and walk, cycle or take the bus instead you’ll feel happier, healthier and be able to have a cheeky beer or two, too.
