Agrimonia is an organic farmhouse located in the rolling hills of Tuscany approximately 3km from Volterra. The ancient farmhouse homes two apartments with splendid views over the valley; Each comes with an independent entrance and private outdoor spaces with table and chairs.

It has been exquisitely restored and elegantly furnished preserving the original structure and the architectural features of old Tuscan houses. The accommodation offers space for 7-8 people, either self catering or bed and breakfast.

The farm covers an area of about four hectares and includes an olive grove, and cherry and peach orchards. The produce (which is available for guests to buy) is organically grown with no artificial chemicals or pesticides – so it is all very tasty and healthy.

Your holiday will revolve purely around relaxation but there are Italian cooking courses available if you choose to join in. You can also take one of the many interesting walking trails through the Tuscan countryside to discover the ancient churches, historical villages and the Etruscan tombs.

Take a look at the photos to whet your appetite…

GC articles show you one of four ways (the one in bold) to live greener…

/ Be a winner (not a binner) /
/ Turn up the style (not the heat) /
/ Love the trend (not the spend) /
/ Do it in public (not the car/plane) /
