DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Amsterdam Centraal Station
In the busy city centre lies a slick hotel where business and relaxation mix. DoubleTree is a surprisingly green hotel situated next to the main railway station (perfect for your arrival by train) and opposite the regenerated docklands area which makes it a key location for a short break.

Although it’s essentially a hotel for business men and women, it also attracts in a large amount of tourists. Pop along to the sky lounge on the rooftop, and settle down in one of the comfortable white chairs on the decking and gaze upon the beautiful historic centre and surrounding canals.

If you’re not good with heights you can keep your feet safely on the ground floor in their guest library. It’s tucked away from the lobby, filled with books so you can read to your hearts content.

However if you’re after some adventure during your stay, you can rent out bicycles from the reception and discover the city at your own pace.
