We love holidays here at Global Cool, especially ones that are kinder to the planet, like going on a Traincation. We also love looking at how people from all over the world are doing their bit to keep this world beautiful.

Here’s our weekly guide to the world’s greatest green beaches…

Goosewing Beach Preserve, Little Compton, Rhode Island
The combination of coastal ponds, sand dunes and beach make Goosewing Beach Preserve a really interesting place.

The area is owned by a number of local conservation groups in an attempt to protect the shorebirds, providing a number of endangered species a safe place to breed.
