Because great holidays don’t have to cost the Earth…
By Hollie Wicks
This week we’re sending you on Traincation to the massive Time Warp festival in the heart of Italy…
What’s it all about?
You’ve probably never heard of Time Warp Festival before and it’s not surprising seeing as it’s only in its second year. This electronic music party takes place in Fiera Milano, and it’s getting more and more popular as the years go on. The festival only lasts a day on September 29 with musicians crammed in from the beginning to the end.
There are three versions of the Time Warp festival, this one in Milan, one in Holland and one in Manheim, Germany. So if you can’t make it to the one in Milan, look out the others at the beginning of next year.
As this festival is only 24hrs long it really is just all about good music and great atmosphere. Some of the acts confirmed on the line up this year are Pan-Pot, Monika Kruse, Lele Sacchi, and Chris Liebing.
Getting there
To get to Milan is very easy and quick: Leave London in the afternoon, and you’ll be in Milan for breakfast! Catch the Eurostar to Paris, then the Thello Sleeper train to Milan. From Milan hop on the local train to the festival site in Fiera Milano. Simples!

Here comes the science bit…
GC articles show you one of four ways (the one in bold) to live greener…
/ Be a winner (not a binner) /
/ Turn up the style (not the heat) /
/ Love the trend (not the spend) /
/ Do it in public (not the car/plane) /
